BMSA CEO Gerry Duffy Retires from Bridgestone after 36 years of Global Leadership
Bridgestone Mining Solutions Australia (BMSA) wish to acknowledge and congratulate CEO, Gerry Duffy, on his retirement from BMSA after 36 commendable years of global leadership.
Gerry said, “While it is sad to be leaving BMSA, it’s been an honour to finish up my Bridgestone career by leading such an excellent company and great people. “
“I’m delighted that my successor in the CEO role is the highly experienced and forward-looking Tadashi Masamune, while the Sales and Operations heart of the company is also strongly reinforced with Andy Davies taking the lead following successful management of Bridgestone operations across Europe and Asia,” Gerry added.
“In conjunction with Rene Allenbach’s continuous leadership of Support Services, BMSA leadership is well equipped for the challenges ahead as we strive to bring further value to all our stakeholders, most importantly our customers.”
Gerry commenced his role in BMSA on December 2020 during those difficult COVID years. Gerry, however, with his positive outlook and hard work, continued to build the BMSA business and lead the successful integration of Otraco.
On behalf of BMSA, we thank Gerry for his amazing contribution and wish him a happy and healthy retirement.
