Announcement: Phishing Alert

Bridgestone Mining Solutions has recently become aware of an email scam involving persons posing as company officers, or falsely claiming to represent the company, while offering to purchase services on behalf of our company.

These emails are requesting quotes (RFQ) based on details in an attached file. We believe the attached file is most likely a Phishing based attack designed to steal information from your organisation. The emails are sent with the following notable details:
 
1.   The domain in use is bridgestoneminingsolutions . net – Bridgestone Mining solutions does not own the .net domain, and has no affiliation with its operations
 
2.   The messages have been associated with false names – you should not expect unsolicited email from our organisation regarding an RFQ without prior contact to establish a relationship.
 
3.   The messages incorrectly list an invalid mobile phone number and incorrect address for our premises as 23 Rookwood Rd, Chullora
 
The company, its affiliates, and officers have absolutely no involvement with these fraudulent practices. Please be aware of this scam, and if you receive email solicitations from anyone posing as the company, its affiliates or company officers that appears even remotely suspicious, please contact us immediately.

We recommend you do not respond to these emails or communicate with the sender, and do not provide the sender with any personal or financial information. We further recommend you deal with these malicious emails per your company policy for Cyber Security and alert your internal organisation as appropriate.
