New Managing Director
Sydney, Australia – March 24, 2026 – the Bridgestone Mining Solutions Australia Group announces new Managing Director.
Andy Davies has been appointed Managing Director of Bridgestone Mining Solutions Australia Pty Ltd (BMSA) and Otraco International Pty Ltd, effective 24th March 2026.
Andy will take on his new role as Tadashi Masamune relocates to Tokyo, Japan to become Bridgestone EAST, VP Business Planning and Finance.
Paul Brown, General Manager West at BMSA, takes over Andy’s role as Sales Director in a concurrent capacity.
Bridgestone Mining Solutions Australia Pty Ltd (BMSA) is a direct subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation Japan, the largest Off-the-Road (OTR) tyre company in the world. As part of the BMSA Group, Otraco International Pty Ltd (Otraco) delivers industry leading OTR tyre management for mining operations across Australia, New Zealand and Chile.
Organisational Changes effective 24 March 2026
Andy has a long and successful career with Bridgestone having started working with the company in the United Kingdom in 1996. An experienced leader, Andy has held many leadership roles including multiple overseas assignments in European countries such as Belgium, Austria and Italy, and CEO with BRIDGESTONE Aircraft Tyre Company in Hong Kong. Andy has been with BMSA as Sales Director for the OTR tyre business since 2023.
In taking on his new role Andy recognises the significant impact that outgoing Managing Director Tadashi Masamune has had on the BMSA business over the past three years.

Now leading the BMSA and Otraco team of over 1,000 people across Australia, New Zealand and Chile, Andy is excited to continue the work Tad-san has initiated whilst advancing solution initiatives under Bridgestone’s “Move More with Less” philosophy.
