The integration provided BMSA with the platform to offer comprehensive customer solutions and a wider range of products and services to its valued customers. The product range previously offered under BSEA AU includes conveyor belts, hydraulic hoses, marine fenders, rubber tracks and other bespoke rubber products. Their services include conveyor belt splicing and quality assurance. These products and services complement the existing range of products and services offered by BSEM including off-the-road (OTR) tyre supply, OTR tyre repairs, wheel and rim supply, refurbishment and repair, OTR fitting and On-Site-Service (OSS).

As a result, BMSA now offers an unprecedented total mobility, pit-to-port solution package for the mining, industrial and construction industries, demonstrating its commitment to creating value for its customers.

Bridgestone acquires P.R. Wieland Equipment Pty Ltd.

October 1981

Name change to Bridgestone Earthmover Tyre Pty Ltd (BSEM). BSEM was established as a specialist company to sell Bridgestone Off-the-Road (OTR) tyres directly to customers in Australia.

October 1996

Bridgestone Engineered Product of Asia (BSEA) incorporated in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to distribute Bridgestone’s range of infrastructure and industrial products in South East Asia, Oceania and the Middle East regions.

June 1999

BSEA Australia branch established to provide local technical & commercial support for customers.

January 2002

BSEA Australia branch transferred to Perth.

November 2017

Pilbara Mining Solution Centre (PMSC) commences operations in Port Hedland. Based on the concept of “Pit to Port,” PMSC provides comprehensive solutions from excavating minerals at mines to transporting them to the ports for shipment.

January 2018

BSEM and BSEA Australia branch unite to become Bridgestone Mining Solutions Australia.

April 2019

BMSA announces the transformation of its Hunter Valley branch as the new Hunter Valley Mining Solution Centre (HMSC), becoming the second Bridgestone qualified Mining Solution Centre after the PMSC in Port Hedland.

December 2021

BMSA acquires Otraco International Pty Ltd (Otraco), an Off-the-Road (OTR) tire management solutions provider, from Downer EDI.
